On the occasion of National Cleanliness Day 2025, the Department of Education Govt. Hrangbana College organized a pledge-taking ceremony to promote the importance of cleanliness and environmental responsibility among students. The event aimed to instill a a sense of civic duty and responsibility for maintaining clean an healthy surroundings. There were 113 participating students along with 3 faculty members
The ceremony was organised among the II Semester Minor Students of Education. A short speech was listened from Mr Isaac Vanlahruaia, Dr.Biakthansangi and Mrs Lalhruaitluangi Sailo, who emphasized the significance of cleanliness in building a healthier and more sustainable society. They also highlighted the role of students in spreading awareness and leading by example in their communities.
Following the speech, all the participants stood up to take the Cleanliness Pledge led by Mr. V.lalrinzuala Class Representative of II Sem Department of Education. The pledge emphasized commitment to keeping the college campus, homes, and public spaces clean and encouraging others to adopt hygienic practices.
