The department of Economics, Government Hrangbana College was set up in 1980, is committed to achieve the mission of facilitating the development of efficient and effective human resources required by the business world through quality education and personal growth. The department is one of the few departments set up at the time when the college was established in 1980. Since its inception, it has produced a number of Economics graduates who have got jobs in and outside the state .
The Bachelor of Arts in Education degree programme prepares students for entry-level positions in elementary or secondary art education. Students will think about, research, and learn how to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of children and adolescents from various backgrounds and ability levels. Students who have completed 10+2 in any subject from a recognised board are eligible for the course.
The degree serves as a foundation for subsequent graduate-level coursework and research in this area, such as the MA and PhD in Education.
