Improve quality of life by adopting, maintaining, or increasing daily physical activity in a fitness setting. Examine the importance of both strength and cardiovascular training in maintaining healthy body composition. The Fitness Center family of courses emphasize lifting techniques, safe operation of exercise machines, gym etiquette, fundamental exercises for each muscle group, basic human anatomy as it relates to the student’s fitness/health goals.
It was established in 2016. The center aims to provide quality recreational and fitness activities for students, faculties and staff in a user friendly environment.
New equipments including cardio machines, weight machines and free weights are purchased to provide facilities for balanced exercise.
The center is located at the 5th floor of the Building. It is open all throughout the day. Membership is open for all students, faculties and staff at free of cost. Those who wishes to become a member must follow the user instructions laid down by the Fitness Club.
