- PEER EDUCATORS CONVENTION RED RIBBON CLUB ORGANIZED BY MIZORAM STATE AIDS CONTROL SOCIETY (MSACS)

The Peer Educators Convention held at Chanmari YMA Hall on the 3rd and 4th of October, 2025 was an insightful and impactful event aimed at equipping peer educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster positive change within their communities. The convention brought together educators, facilitators, and young leaders from various institutions to engage in meaningful discussions, training sessions, and networking opportunities.
- ONE-DAY TRAINING OF NODAL OFFICERS, RED RIBBON CLUB

A one-day training program for Nodal Officers of the Red Ribbon Club was conducted on 24th September 2024 at Whitehall Conference Hall, Ramhlun. The training aimed to equip Nodal Officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage and implement Red Ribbon Club initiatives, focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness and youth engagement.
- THE YŪGEN. RED RIBBON ALUMNI BAND FROM GOVERNMENT HRANGBANA COLLEGE COMPETING IN HORNBILL BEAT CONTEST
The YŪGEN Alumni Band from Government Hrangbana College recently showcased their exceptional talent at the 'Ticket to Hornbill'—India's Biggest Band Battle 2024, held from October 18 to 21 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma near Kohima, Nagaland.
Competing against numerous bands from across the country, YŪGEN delivered outstanding performances that earned them a spot in the grand finale. Their dedication and musical prowess were evident throughout the competition.
A highlight of their journey was the recognition of their keyboardist, Lalnghakliana Ralte, who was honored with the Best Keyboardist award. This accolade not only underscores his individual talent but also brings pride to the entire band and their alma mater.
YŪGEN's participation and success at this prestigious event reflect the rich musical heritage and dedication of the students and alumni of Government Hrangbana College. Their achievements continue to inspire budding musicians from their community and beyond.
- REPORT ON RAMDINMAWII CHHANGTE'S ACHIEVEMENT IN MIZORAM STATE LEVEL RED RUN, 2024
Ramdinmawii Chhangte, a dedicated and talented second-semester student from Govt. Hrangbana College, has brought pride to her institution and the state of Mizoram by securing the second position in the Mizoram State Level Red Run, 2024. Her outstanding performance has earned her the opportunity to represent Mizoram at the National Red Run, 2024, which was held in Goa.
- BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Introduction
A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by the NSS Unit of Govt. Hrangbana College (GHBC) in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club from 25th to 28th February 2025. The event was held at the Golden Hall, Govt. Hrangbana College, with the primary objective of promoting voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about its significance in saving lives.
- INTENSIFIED IEC CAMPAIGN—INDIA'S FIGHT AGAINST HIV & STI IN MIZORAM
On September 10, 2024, the Government of Mizoram launched the "Intensified Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign—India Fights Against HIV & STI" to combat the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the state. The campaign commenced with a rally in Aizawl, where students from Red Ribbon Club,Government Hrangbana College, actively participated.
