Report on Orientation Programme for New Semester

16th January 2024 : An Orientation Programme of new semester was held today in the Department room for II and IV Semester Students and provided them with essential information for a successful academic year. Ms HD Lalrinkimi, Head of the Department, chaired the programme. In her introductory speech, Miss Rki welcomed the new students and outlined the department's academic goals and aspirations. She also comprehensively covered the college's rules and regulations, emphasizing student conduct, attendance policies, and disciplinary procedures.

Following this, Mr V. Lalberkhawpuimawia, Asst. Professor presented a detailed overview of the courses offered in the new semester, including course objectives, teaching methodologies, and assessment criteria. Furthermore, Sr. Lb-a highlighted several crucial points for the new semester, such as the importance of maintaining academic integrity, guidelines for utilizing library resources effectively, encouragement to participate in extracurricular activities, and information about available student support services.

The Orientation Programme successfully provided valuable information to the new students, fostering a positive and welcoming environment for a productive and successful academic year.
