One-Day National Workshop on ‘Digital Teaching Platform’

IQAC, and ICT Cell, Govt Hrangbana College in collaboration with NIELIT, Aizawl jointly organized a One-Day National Workshop on ‘Digital Teaching Platform’ at the Conference Hall on 15^th January 2025. 

Dr Juliet Lalremmawii Ralte, Coordinator, IQAC, GHBC, chaired the workshop. The resource persons for the workshop were Ms. N.C. Sundari, PTO, NIELIT, and Mr. B.Lalrawngbawla, Associate Professor, Department of Geography and Chairman, ICT Cell, GHBC. 

Ms. N.C. Sundari stated that NIELIT, Aizawl, organized numerous training sessions for various colleges in Mizoram, with Govt. Hrangbana College is one of the institutes that participated actively. She also talked about the significance of technology in the learning process. Mr. B. Lalrawngbawla explained the definitions and various types of online classes, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages. In addition, he gave a lecture on MOOCs and their various uses. Mr. H. Lalropianga, the Secretary, ICT Cell, GHBC, spoke briefly about the significance and necessity of submitting reports to the college application 'Hereus'.

The presentation ended with an interactive session where participants actively participated and the resource person answered any questions they had. The coordinator concluded the workshop with a vote of thanks. A practical session was then conducted at the Golden Hall.
