Govt Hrangbana College, Aizawl, Mizoram. 

On 10^th February 2025, the Health and Medical Committee of Govt. Hrangbana College successfully conducted a deworming tablet distribution program for the nationwide National Deworming Day initiative.  The program aimed to improve the health and well-being of our students.

 400 tablets (Albendazole) were distributed, following the recommended dosage guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The distribution was overseen by the committee members and the college nurse who provided guidance and answered student queries regarding the medication.

Before distribution, a brief educational session was conducted to inform students about the importance of deworming, the benefits of the medication, and proper administration. 

The Health and Medical Committee considers this deworming program a significant success.  We believe it has contributed to improving the health and well-being of our student population and aligns with our commitment to promoting a healthy and productive learning environment.  We plan to continue advocating for such health initiatives.
