On February 7, 2025, Govt. Hrangbana College organized a special mentoring session for high-achieving students from each department. The event, conducted by the Principal and Vice Principal, aimed to acknowledge, motivate, and guide students with a CGPA of 8.0 and above based on their cumulative performance from I to V Semester.
The session's primary objective was to recognize academic excellence, foster a growth mindset, and provide mentorship for sustained academic and professional success. The college reaffirms its commitment to creating an environment conducive to learning, research, and holistic development.
A total of 65 students participated in the session. These included: 45 students from the Arts stream and 20 students from the Commerce stream
Principal’s Mentoring Session (Room No. 401)
In Room No. 401, the Principal congratulated the students on their commendable academic achievements. He emphasized the importance of consistency, discipline, and lifelong learning. The Principal encouraged students to set ambitious goals, explore research opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.
Vice Principal’s Mentoring Session (Room No. 409)
The Vice Principal highlighted the importance of perseverance and self-motivation. He provided valuable guidance on time management and academic strategies tailored for advanced learners.
The special mentoring session served as a reinforcement of the college’s commitment to academic excellence and student development. The interactive nature of the sessions allowed students to gain valuable insights and a clearer sense of direction in their academic pursuits.
