REPORT ON EXPERIENCE AMERICA: BUILDING BRIDGES OF OPPORTUNITY

The Career Guidance & Campus Placement Cell of Govt. Hrangbana College, in collaboration with YRGCARE and the US Embassy, Kolkata, organized a multi-college roadshow titled “Experience America: Building Bridges of Opportunity” on 7th February 2025. The event aimed to enlighten students about the benefits of studying abroad, particularly in the United States, and guide them through the student mobility program and application process for US universities.

 Ms. Aishwarya Mondal presented a Virtual Overview of the Student Mobility Program in the Northeast from the US Embassy, This session provided insights into mobility programs available for students in the Northeast region. Another virtual orientation on the Application Procedure to US Universities was presented by US Embassy officials who conducted this session, guiding students on the step-by-step process of applying to US universities, scholarship opportunities, and visa procedures.

The "Experience America" event was remarkable, providing students with crucial information on studying in the US. The interactive sessions helped clarify doubts and motivated students to consider higher education abroad as a viable career option. The Career Guidance & Campus Placement Cell looks forward to organizing more such informative sessions to empower students for global opportunities.
