The Principal and the Department of English held a Condolence Program on August 6, 2024, at 2:30 PM in memory of Dorothy Lalruatkimi, a 4th Semester student (Roll No. 2203BA073) from the Department of English, who tragically passed away on May 28, 2024, due to a landslide at Melthum Village, Aizawl District.

The program was chaired by the respected Principal, who delivered a heartfelt speech, along with the mother of the deceased. During the condolence program, the family of the departed was presented with Rs. 50,000. This amount was received through the Student Group Insurance Scheme, which is subscribed to by the College for every student.
