Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2025: Mentors From GHBC

The Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2025 was held on January 10th-12th at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. It is an event that brings together aspiring leaders across India to discuss and present their ideas on nation-building and development. The event saw enthusiastic participation from various states, including a notable contingent from Mizoram consisting of 12 participants from different colleges of Mizoram led by Associate Professors of Govt. Hrangbana College, Dr. Rosaline Varsangzuali and Dr. H. The Hon'ble Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Lalnghinglova Hmar, gave a send-off ceremony for the Mizoram contingent participating in the 2025 National Youth Festival. The event was held on 8th January 2025 at his official chamber at Mizoram Secretariat, celebrating the team's preparation and enthusiasm as they embarked on their journey to represent the state at the festival. The Minister delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of youth engagement in cultural and sports activities. The Minister wished them success. The send-off ceremony was attended by key officials from the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, including the Director, the Deputy Director, and the Joint Director of Higher & Technical Education. This highlighted the government's support and encouragement for youth participation in national-level events.

 Tracks of Essay Writing and Presentation: The participants engaged in discussions and presentations across 10 thematic tracks, which were central to the dialogue’s objectives:

  • Tech for Viksit Bharat
  • Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi
  • Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat
  • Enhancing Productivity in Agriculture
  • Making India the Startup Capital of the World
  • Making India a Sporting and FIT Nation
  • Making India the Global Manufacturing Powerhouse
  • Steering India Towards a Sustainable Future
  • Building the Infrastructure for the Future
  • Empowering Women and Improving Social Indicators.

Of these 10 tracks, the Mizoram Contingent participated in four: Tech for Viksit Bharat, Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat, Enhancing Productivity in Agriculture, and Empowering Women and Improving Social Indicators.

Mizoram Contingent: The Mizoram contingent consisted of 12 participants from different colleges statewide. This diverse group of young leaders went through preliminary rounds of participating in a quiz competition on the MYBharat portal, essay writing, and presentations on various developmental tracks at New Delhi. Out of the 12 participants, 2 of them were shortlisted to present their respective tracks before Prime Minister Modi. However, only one was selected to be a part of the 20 Youth Representatives, Grance Lalrinpari Hauzel.  

 

 

  

 

About the Mentors: Dr. Rosaline Varsangzuali and Dr. H.Lalzuithangi Associate professors of Govt Hrangbana College, were designated as Team leaders and Mentors for the Mizoram Contingent by the Departments concerned. They trained and groomed the participants and accompanied them to the event in New Delhi.

Conclusion: The Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2025 was a resounding success, providing a unique platform for the youth to engage in meaningful dialogue on India's future. The participation of the Mizoram contingent, led by Dr. Rosaline Varsangzuali and Dr. H. Lalzuithangi, highlighted the state's commitment to nurturing young talent and contributing to the nation’s development. The event concluded with optimism and inspiration, setting the stage for the next generation of leaders to take proactive roles in shaping a developed India.
