We are pleased to report that the Zunleng Cultural Club, GHBC has officially become affiliated under the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Mizoram, as of 3rd April 2025.

The affiliation process was carried out following a careful evaluation conducted by a team of experienced Instructors and Instructresses of Folk Dance from the Department of Art & Culture on 19th March 2025. The evaluation focused on key areas such as performance standards, authenticity in cultural representation, organizational discipline, and the club’s overall contribution to the preservation and promotion of folk traditions.

Based on the positive findings, the department recognized the club's consistent excellence, cultural commitment, and its role in enriching the artistic heritage of the region. The successful affiliation now grants Zunleng Cultural Club official status under the state’s cultural framework, opening opportunities for further development, government support, and wider recognition.

This affiliation serves as both a recognition of past efforts and a motivator for continued excellence in promoting the cultural values.
