The Cyber Crime Police Station, Aizawl, in collaboration with the ICT Committee and IQAC, GHBC successfully organized a Cyber Crime Awareness and Internet Safer Day program on 14th February 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Golden Hall. The event aimed to educate students and faculties about cyber threats, preventive measures, and safe online practices.
Objectives of the Program
- 1. To raise awareness about the increasing threats of cybercrime.
- 2. To educate participants on best practices for online safety and privacy.
- 3. To provide insights into legal measures and cyber laws.
- 4. To encourage responsible use of the internet and social media.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by the Co- Ordinator, IQAC, GHBC, highlighting the importance of cyber security in today's digital world.
Experts from the Cyber Crime Police Station, Aizawl, delivered informative sessions on various cyber threats such as phishing, hacking, online fraud, cyberbullying, and identity theft.
A Question and Answer session allowed participants to engage with experts and seek clarifications on cyber safety concerns.
The programme concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, allowing attendees to clear doubts and gain further insights. A photo session followed, capturing the successful event and participants' enthusiasm.
