1. S.S Govt. Hrangbana College has put a lot of efforts to make a voluntary blood donations in respect of the increasing need for blood for the Blood Bank in Mizoram. In this regard, efforts have been made to increase voluntary blood donations using blood donation campaigns in the college.

During the year 2025 - 2026, eight (8) voluntary blood donation camps were organized inside the college campus, and emergency blood donations were given to Aizawl Civil Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital, Durtlang, respectively.

A total of 653 units of blood was voluntarily given by Gov. Hranbana College students, faculty, and NSS POs.

On 17th June, 2026 NSS Govt. Hrangbana College received two awards from the ‘Association for Voluntary Blood Donation’ (AVBD) and ‘Mizoram State AIDS Control Society’ (MSACS)

  2. Special Award for Blood Donation Camps (8 times)
