Govt. Hrangbana College successfully hosted a massive two-day voluntary blood donation drive on the 15th and 17th of September 2026, collecting a total of 182 units of life-saving blood. The initiative was spearheaded by the college's National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and the Red Ribbon Club, working in close collaboration with the Blood Bank of Civil Hospital, Aizawl.

The drive commenced on September 15th at the college's Golden Hall, opening with a short devotion before the medical procedures began. Driven by the participation of 3rd Semester students, the first day saw an overwhelming response. Volunteers successfully donated 92 units of blood, comprising contributions from 75 male and 17 female student donors.

The momentum continued on September 17th, with the First Semester students stepping up for the cause. This second camp proved just as successful, yielding an additional 90 units of blood. During this session, 79 male and 11 female students donate.
Following the successful conclusion of both camps, the organizing committee extended their sincere gratitude to all student donors for their selflessness and civic duty. Special thanks were also given to the medical professionals from Civil Hospital Aizawl and the dedicated NSS volunteers whose coordinated efforts ensured the smooth and safe execution of both events.
