Report on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Ephatha Society of Mizoram for the deaf and hard of hearing and Department of History

The MoU was signed by the Principal of Govt. Hrangbana college, Head of the Department of History, and faculty members of Ephatha Society of Mizoram. A brief interaction followed, where both parties expressed their commitment to work together to achieve their objectives.

This collaboration aims to promote inclusive education and to bridge the gap between mainstream academic spaces and the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, while creating opportunities for mutual learning and social outreach.

Students from the history department will visit the Ephatha society campus to organize workshops, undertake field research projects on the deaf community, and assist in cleaning their campus.

The agreement will remain in effect till 27.05.2030
