Govt. Hrangbana College Eco Club Members Participate in Aizawl District College Nature Camp

Eleven members of the Eco Club, Govt. Hrangbana College, actively participated in the Aizawl District College Nature Camp held at Chalfilh from March 19–21, 2025. The camp was organized under the Environment Education Programme (EEP) by the Mizoram Pollution Control Board, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India.

During the camp, students were educated on the importance of nature conservation and engaged in interactive learning sessions. In the evening, a campfire quiz was conducted by their guides, Dr. Alfred Malsawmsanga and Mr. Malsawmdawngliana , staff of the Mizoram Pollution Control Board. Additionally, a nature walk was organized at noon, where students identified and recorded different tree species found on Chalfilh Hill.

The camp provided a valuable hands-on experience, enhancing students’ understanding of environmental conservation and fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.
