Govt. Hrangbana College, Government of Mizoram, India

May 6, 2026:Govt. Hrangbana College has once again brought pride and distinction to the academic community by securing First Place in the Government Online Excellence Award 2024–25 under the Institution Website Category. The prestigious award was presented by the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Government of Mizoram, in recognition of the college's outstanding efforts in maintaining a high-quality, user-friendly, and informative institutional website.

This achievement marks the second time that Govt. Hrangbana College has received this coveted honor, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in digital governance, transparency, and information dissemination. The recognition highlights the institution's dedication to embracing modern technology and leveraging digital platforms to enhance communication, accessibility, and administrative efficiency.

For the awards, a Selection Committee and a Technical Evaluation Committee were constituted, comprising an ICT technical expert along with representatives from Mizoram University (MZU), the National Informatics Centre (NIC), and the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). A total of 160 websites were evaluated under the Official Departmental Website category, while 50 websites were assessed in the Educational Institution Website category.
