On the 21st July, 2025, in celebration of the Foundation Day of Govt. Hrangbana College (45th) carried out a meaningful act of service as part of its continued commitment to community welfare. On this special occasion, the Principal, accompanied by Ms. Zonunsangi, Head of the History Department, Dr. Juliet Lalremmawii Ralte, IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Lalnunzira Colney, Office Staff, visited the Mizoram State Cancer Institute under the Health & Family Welfare Department at Zemabawk.

The visit marked the handing over of a cash donation amounting to ₹1,00,000 (Rupees one lakh only), a generous contribution voluntarily raised by the faculty members and students of the college. The donation is specifically intended to support patients undergoing treatment at the institute, especially those in financial need.

The symbolic handover was carried out by Ms. Zonunsangi, who presented the donation to Ms. Lalrinpari Ralte, the Nurse Superintendent of the hospital. The gesture was received with gratitude and appreciation by the institute’s staff, recognizing the college’s spirit of solidarity and compassion.
