Practical Session on First Aid for Choking: Relief and Response was conducted by Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) on Safety & Emergency Preparedness Class with Miss Emmanuel Hmingthansangi, Bsc Nursing, Govt.Hrangbana College Nurse on 31^st January, 2025 at the Golden Hall, Govt. Hrangbana College. This session aims to teach the correct techniques for relieving choking emergencies.

The practical session was well-attended, with 47 students taking part. The students learned how to identify signs and symptoms of choking, apply first aid techniques for choking relief (e.g., back blows, abdominal thrusts) and responding appropriately in different choking scenarios. The students gained hands-on experience in responding to choking emergencies, learning techniques for relief and response to save lives.
