The Department of History, Government Hrangbana College organised a Parents–Teachers Meet on 13 August 2026 at 11:10 AM in the department’s core room. The meeting was conducted by Mr. Laldampuia, Associate Professor and Head, Department of History and a total of  55 parents and guardians were present.

The meeting commenced with a welcome address by the Head of the Department who then proceeded to deliver an informative presentation on academic regulations wherein he emphasised the need for regular attendance, classroom discipline, timely submission of assignments, participation in academic activities and adherence to institutional norms. The examination and assessment procedures as well as the digital tools and resources provided by the college were also explained. He further stressed on the importance of parents’ active involvement in their wards’ academic progress.

Parents also actively interacted with the faculty members during the Questions &Answers (Q&A) session and sought clarifications regarding various academic matters. They also expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the faculty in providing academic guidance and support. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a mutual understanding that continued cooperation between parents and teachers would be maintained to address students’ difficulties and promote better academic outcomes.
