The Department of History celebrated the 76^th Republic Day in the core room. 

The chairperson emphasized the importance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

C. Laldampuia (Associate Professor) delivered a speech on celebrating Republic Day and how India became a democratic and republic nation. 

The Republic Day celebration was marked by a vibrant display of traditional attire, where students dressed themselves in various Indian traditional attire showcasing the vibrant culture of India. 

The program included special items like singing and short speech by students from II, IV and VI semester students. Selected students delivered short speech on what Republic Day means to me both in English and Hindi.
