Eco Club members attended Awareness Campaign on E-Waste Management cum Setting up of E-Waste Collection Corner

58 members of Eco Club, Govt. Hrangbana College attended a workshop on “Awareness Campaign on E-Waste Management cum Setting up of E-Waste Collection Corner” for Aizawl College Eco Clubs on 4th February, 2024 at Chanmari YMA Hall. The programme was organized by Mizoram Control Board (MPCB) under the Environment Education Programme (EEP).

The programme aims to raise awareness on electronic waste and the need for proper management among the students and to take up necessary action for setting up e-waste collection corners at their respective institutions. For this, the MPCB gave an Electronic Waste Bin for our College which Eco Club Club Leader Ricky Lalmalsawma, sixth semester psychology core received. The attendee from our college found it very fruitful and was made aware of E-Waste Management.
